Main Ingredients

  • 4 pieces chicken breasts, equal in size
  • 2 Tbsp olive oil

Seasoning

  • 2 tsp dried thyme or Italian Seasoning Can substitute with preferred herbs.
  • 2 tsp onion powder
  • 2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp ground black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp paprika

Preparation

  • In a large bowl, combine the olive oil, dried thyme (or Italian seasoning), onion powder, garlic powder, salt, black pepper, and paprika. Mix everything together until well combined.
  • Pat the chicken breasts dry with a paper towel. This helps the seasoning stick better. Then, brush the seasoning mixture onto both sides of the chicken breasts.

Cooking

  • Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for about 5 minutes.
  • Lightly spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray. Place the seasoned chicken breasts in a single layer.
  • Cook for 10 minutes. After 10 minutes, flip the chicken breasts and cook for an additional 10 minutes. Make sure the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C) for safe eating.

Serving

  • Once done, let the chicken rest for a few minutes before slicing. This helps keep the juices locked in.

Notes

Use equal-sized chicken breasts for even cooking and do not overcrowd the basket. Check the temperature with a meat thermometer.
