  • 1 lb Ground beef
  • 1 clove Garlic minced
  • 1 Onion chopped
  • 1/4 cup Parsley, fresh for garnish
  • 2 cups Beef broth
  • 1 can Cream of mushroom soup 10.75 oz
  • 1 cup Rice, long-grain
  • 1/2 tsp Black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp Paprika
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1 cup Cheddar cheese shredded, for topping

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat.
  • Add the minced garlic and chopped onion; cook until softened.
  • Stir in the beef broth, cream of mushroom soup, rice, black pepper, paprika, and salt. Bring the mixture to a boil.
  • Reduce heat and let it simmer until the rice is tender, which should take about 15-20 minutes.
  • Pour the mixture into a greased casserole dish. Top with shredded cheddar cheese.
  • Bake for 15-20 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  • Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

This casserole is best served hot right out of the oven. You can enjoy it on its own or pair it with a simple side salad or some steamed vegetables.
