  • 6 pieces eggs
  • 6 pieces flour tortillas (8-inch)
  • 0.25 pound sausage Ground sausage or your preferred type
  • 0.25 cup salsa Add more to taste if desired
  • 0.5 cup cheddar cheese (shredded) Feel free to use other cheese options

Instructions
 

Cooking

  • Cook the sausage in a skillet over medium heat until fully browned. Transfer to a bowl and set aside.
  • In the same skillet, scramble the eggs until fully cooked, stirring gently. Set aside.

Assembling

  • Take a tortilla and place a scoop of scrambled eggs, followed by the cooked sausage, salsa, and a sprinkle of cheddar cheese.
  • Fold in the sides of the tortilla and roll it from the bottom to the top to form a burrito. Repeat with remaining tortillas and ingredients.

Freezing

  • Lay all wrapped burritos on a baking sheet without them touching. Freeze for about 1 hour, then transfer to a freezer-safe bag or container.

Reheating

  • Wrap a burrito in a damp paper towel and reheat in the microwave for up to 2 minutes when ready to eat.

Notes
