Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb ground beef (80/20)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter divided
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
  • salt and black pepper to taste
  • 1 package refrigerated crescent roll dough 8 rolls
  • 6 slices American or cheddar cheese torn into pieces
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped optional

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat, breaking it up as it cooks. Drain excess fat.
  • Add 1 tbsp butter and the minced garlic to the pan. Cook for 1 minute, then mix into the beef.
  • Stir in Worcestershire sauce, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Remove from heat and let cool 5 minutes.
  • Unroll the crescent dough and separate into triangles. Place a piece of cheese at the wide end of each triangle, then add a heaping tablespoon of beef filling.
  • Roll each triangle from the wide end to the tip, tucking in the sides slightly. Place seam-side down on the baking sheet.
  • Bake for 12 to 14 minutes until golden brown.
  • Melt the remaining 2 tbsp butter with a pinch of garlic and brush over the rollups immediately after baking. Garnish with parsley if desired.

Notes

  • Drain the beef well to prevent soggy dough.
  • Let the filling cool slightly before rolling.
  • For crispier bottoms, bake directly on a lightly greased pan without parchment.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days. Reheat in oven or air fryer at 350°F.
