Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 1.25 pounds boneless skinless chicken tenders
  • 0.5 cup white flour
  • 6 tablespoons olive oil or melted butter
  • 3 teaspoons minced garlic
  • 1 cup Panko breadcrumbs
  • 2/3 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 400°F.
  • Trim excess fat from chicken tenders for even cooking.
  • Prepare three bowls: In the first, mix flour with salt and pepper.
  • In the second, combine olive oil and minced garlic.
  • In the third, mix Panko breadcrumbs with dried basil, paprika, and Parmesan cheese.

Coating

  • Coat each chicken tender in flour first, then dip it in the garlic oil, and finally coat it with the Panko mixture.
  • Arrange the coated tenders on a baking sheet in a single layer.

Baking

  • Bake for 15 minutes.
  • Flip the tenders and bake for an additional 5-8 minutes until golden brown and the internal temperature reaches 165°F.

Serving

  • Serve immediately with your favorite dipping sauce.

Notes

For extra flavor, add some Italian seasoning or garlic powder to the Panko mixture. Make sure the tenders are not overcrowded on the baking sheet; this helps them stay crispy. If you prefer a spicier kick, add some cayenne pepper to the flour mixture.
