- 2 teaspoons instant yeast
- 1.5 teaspoons salt
- 1.5 cups warm water about 110°F
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 0.25 cup extra virgin olive oil plus more for greasing
- 3-4 cloves garlic minced
- 0.5 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon dried Italian herbs or rosemary optional
- Flaky sea salt for topping
Mix warm water, sugar, and yeast in a bowl. Let sit 5 minutes until foamy.
Add flour, salt, and olive oil. Knead 5-6 min (mixer) or 8-10 min (hand) until smooth.
Coat dough in oil, cover, rise 1-1.5 hours until doubled.
Heat olive oil with minced garlic 1 min. Grease 9x13 pan.
Stretch dough in pan, rest if needed, second rise 30-45 min.
Preheat 425°F. Dimple dough, brush garlic oil, top with Parmesan, herbs, salt. Bake 20-25 min.
Cool 10 min, slice, serve warm.
