- 3/4 cup unsalted butter
- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 4 large eggs
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 (1-oz) bottle green liquid food coloring
- 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/8 tsp salt
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 3 Tbsp unsalted butter, softened
- 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract for frosting
- 1/8 tsp salt for frosting
Preheat oven to 350°F. Line a 9-inch square pan with foil and grease lightly.
Melt chocolate chips and 3/4 cup butter in microwave, stirring until smooth. Cool slightly.
Whisk in sugar, then eggs one at a time.
Fold in flour, green food coloring, baking powder, vanilla, and salt. Pour into pan.
Bake 35-40 minutes until toothpick has moist crumbs. Cool completely.
Beat cream cheese and 3 Tbsp butter until creamy. Add powdered sugar, salt, and vanilla. Spread over brownies.
