  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 2 cups whole milk
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup crumbled feta cheese
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg

  • Add mozzarella, cheddar, parmesan, and feta cheeses. Stir until melted and smooth.
  • Season the cheese sauce with salt, pepper, and nutmeg.

  • Bake uncovered for 20–25 minutes until golden and bubbly. Let rest 5 minutes before serving. Garnish with parsley if desired.

Notes

Make ahead and refrigerate up to 2 days before baking. For extra depth, try adding sautéed mushrooms or caramelized onions. Serve with a side salad or garlic bread for a complete meal.
