- 1 lb ground turkey, lean or extra-lean
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
- 1 tbsp rice vinegar
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes optional
- 2 green onions, sliced
- 1 tbsp neutral oil, canola or avocado
Heat a large skillet over medium-high. Add the neutral oil.
Add ground turkey, break it up, cook until browned, about 6-7 minutes.
Lower heat to medium, stir in minced garlic, cook 1 minute.
Whisk honey, soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, and red pepper flakes.
Pour sauce over turkey, stir, simmer 3-5 minutes until thickened.
Mix in most green onions, remove from heat.
Serve over rice or lettuce wraps.
