Ingredients
  

  • 4 cups water
  • 5 green tea bags
  • 2 tablespoons fresh ginger finely grated
  • 2 cups fresh orange juice
  • 1/2 cup fresh lemon juice
  • 3 to 4 tablespoons honey or to taste
  • 2 cups ice cubes
  • to serve orange slices
  • to serve mint leaves

Instructions
 

  • Heat the water in a saucepan until it reaches a gentle simmer.
  • Turn off the heat, add the green tea bags, and steep for 3 minutes.
  • Stir in the grated ginger and let it sit for 2 more minutes.
  • Remove the tea bags and strain the tea into a pitcher if needed.
  • Mix in the honey while the tea is still warm so it dissolves easily.
  • Let the tea cool, then stir in the orange juice and lemon juice.
  • Chill well, pour over ice, and finish with orange slices and mint.

Notes

  • Use freshly squeezed orange juice for the best flavor.
  • Keep the steeping time short to avoid bitterness.
  • Chill fully before serving for a cleaner, brighter taste.
