Equipment

  • Large pot
  • Wooden spoon

Ingredients

  • 12 frozen potstickers (pork or veggie)
  • 4 cups low-sodium chicken broth
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger grated
  • 3 garlic cloves minced
  • 1 cup sliced carrots
  • 2 cups chopped bok choy
  • 2 tablespoons low-sodium soy sauce
  • 2 green onions chopped
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil

Instructions

  • In a large pot over medium heat, combine the chicken broth, grated ginger, and minced garlic. Simmer for 3-5 minutes.
  • Add the frozen potstickers. Cook, stirring occasionally, until they float to the top, about 5-7 minutes.
  • Stir in the sliced carrots and chopped bok choy. Simmer for another 3-4 minutes until vegetables are tender-crisp.
  • Season with soy sauce to taste. Remove from heat and stir in chopped green onions and sesame oil.
  • Serve hot in bowls.

Notes

  • Use low-sodium ingredients to control salt.
  • Frozen potstickers save time; no thawing needed.
  • Garnish with extra green onions for freshness.
