- 1 cup unsalted butter softened
- 1 cup packed light brown sugar
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs room temperature
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 2 2/3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1/2 cup thick caramel sauce plus extra for drizzling
- Flaky sea salt for sprinkling
Beat 1 cup softened unsalted butter, 1 cup brown sugar, and 1/2 cup granulated sugar until fluffy, about 2 minutes.
Add 2 eggs one at a time, then 2 tsp vanilla. Mix until smooth.
Stir in 2 2/3 cups flour, 1 tsp baking soda, and 1/2 tsp salt until just combined.
Swirl in 1/2 cup caramel sauce. Chill dough 30 minutes.
Preheat oven to 375°F. Scoop tablespoon balls onto lined sheets. Bake 9-11 minutes until edges golden.
Drizzle with extra caramel and sprinkle flaky sea salt. Cool on racks.
