- 2 cups fresh strawberries sliced
- 8 ounces cream cheese softened
- 1 large egg
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 box vanilla or yellow cake mix 15.25 ounces
- 10 to 12 tablespoons unsalted butter melted or thinly sliced
