Instructions
In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned, breaking it apart as it cooks.
Add the diced onion and garlic, cooking until softened and fragrant.
In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, brown sugar, rice vinegar, mirin, sesame oil, and ginger.
Pour the sauce into the skillet and stir to coat the beef evenly.
Add the cornstarch slurry to thicken the sauce, stirring until glossy and smooth.
Simmer for 2–3 minutes, then remove from heat and garnish with green onions.
Notes
Serve over rice, noodles, or steamed vegetables for a complete meal. Add chili flakes for heat or pineapple for sweetness.
